Founded in 1963 in Tondela, Portugal by Urbano Figueiredo Da Cruz. Urfic have been one of the leading manufacturers of decorative door handles for the home and construction industry and we have been trusted for over 55 years.

Urfic are proud to offer over 500 products online. Our high quality products include door handles, escutcheons, mortice knobs, cabinet knobs, pull handles and other door furniture accessories. Offering modern and traditional designs in our range of door hardware and selling products made in our factory in Portugal also guarantees continuity of supply and quality. Whilst being a family run business, we utilise longstanding techniques and latest technologies.
In addition to our commitment to continuous product development, we place a lot of emphasis on the need to provide and maintain the highest levels of service to our customers. Quality
Over the years we have evolved our manufacturing systems from traditional “Sand Casting” to “Die Casting” then to the most current process using “Cold Press” sheet materials for our back plates combined with “Hot Forging” for our levers to maintain consistency in design and quality.
At Urfic, we are committed to quality and reliability. All our door handles are spring tested, some collections have been spray tested with selected models fire tested to 30/60. All our door furniture have a full 25 year guarantee on mechanical and coating performance.
